जेव्हा आपल्या कलाकृतीचे किंवा विचाराचे किंवा रचनेचे विडंबन होते तेव्हा आपण उत्कृष्ट निर्मिती केली असं समजायला हरकत नसते.

काल गाणी आणि वर्तमान ही सिरीज पूर्ण केली. विषय थोडा नाजूक असल्यामुळे अपेक्षेप्रमाणे कमी प्रतिसाद मिळाला. पण माझ्या काही आवडत्या गाण्यांची, सद्यकाळातील घटनांशी आणि समाजमाध्यमांवर होणाऱ्या हाणामारीशी ज्या प्रकारे माझ्या डोक्यात संगती लागली होती, त्याच प्रकारे मी ती शब्दात उतरवू शकलो होतो. म्हणून मी खूष होतो.

आणि आता इंद्रनीलचा मेसेज आला. त्रिपुरा निकाल, लेनिन पुतळा, पेरियार पुतळा आणि श्यामाप्रसाद मुखर्जी पुतळा प्रकरण त्यावरून समाजमाध्यमांत रोज बदलत जाणाऱ्या भूमिका, सर्वपक्षीय समर्थकांची होणारी गोची आणि तरीही त्यांच्या उत्साहाला कधी न लागणारी ओहोटी पाहून त्याला जे वाटलं ते त्याच्याच शब्दात मांडतो.

First an incident happens.

Day 1 goes on utter shock and condemnation.

By day 2 the other side gets ready and start proving how the incident is either not that big a deal, how other side has done same things in the past, or how what happened was totally justified, and then social media is filled with counter arguments.

Day three is utter chaos with both the sides hitting each other left and right.

By day four, both of them are somewhat tired and when it seems the issue is going away, someone discovers the comic side to it, and next thing you know your timeline is filled with memes and jokes about the same incident. By this time the anger has also gone down a little bit and the urge to fight is also going away, and both sides find this new wave of memes a little bit relieving.

By day 5th the memes are getting stale and people are losing interest in general in topic. The timeline seems boring, and just when you are going back to your daily mundane life, a new incident happens and the cycle starts again.
